Rolleiflex with rolls of Rollei

Posted on

I spooled several rolls of film through my SL66 and enjoyed the experience. As I mentioned in the previous post – I’m happy to have SL66 instead of RB67. The weight seems to be enough for me. I bought the neck strap to help me carrying it around and also a camera bag.

I decided to buy and to try two Rollei films – RPX100 and 400. I mess up the development of the 400 somehow and the negative is full of tiny spots. But after digitalisation, thanks to inpainting brush function of Affinity Photo, I was able to rescue the shots in few minutes. 🙂

I developed both films in Foma’s Fomadon R09 developer. Again as stand development. I really find it hassle free and I enjoy watching some movies during waiting.
But truth to be told, I might try some development in not so much diluted developer and see what Rodinal can do in 1:50, or even 1:25 dilution. According one my friend I could like the results. One can never know until actually trying it.

Today’s photos are shot with Carl Zeiss 150/4 lens which I found on eBay for very friendly price. I’m thinking about getting also 50/4, so maybe one day …

Tak good luck!

    1. No, ono je otázka, kde se tam ty flíčky vzaly. Pošlu ti pak na okuk jeden snímek – třeba ti to něco řekne. Já to naštěstí tím opravným štetcem zvládnul opravit za chvilku – proto si chci RPX filmy pořídit zase – ten výstup se mi líbí. V nejhorším bych zůstal na Ilfordech.
